Two new cards.

Evening everyone,
Just another couple of cards. I just love Magnolia stamps!! Isn't Tilda the cutest? She has been coloured with copics and of course I have used the Spellbinders nestabilities to cut out the circles. Lately I have been making a lot of 51/4" square cards.
We had a busy couple of days last weekend as it was Craft Creators Weekend - the ladies seemed to enjoy it and must admit I did too! Thanks to Joanne and Jocelyn for helping me out on Friday. These two ladies are just wonderful.

Another 51/4" card - for this one I used the lovely chanteuse paper from Kaisercraft. Martha Stewart punch and the flower stamp is a Stamping Up, again coloured with copics. They are my favourite form of colouring at the moment, so easy to work with.
Bed time so must get my beauty sleep!!

God bless , Betsy.

Danielle's Artist Board.

Hello everyone, To day I am showing an artist board I did up for my grand-daughter. She requested a big one for her new bedroom, it is 18" square. She produced three photos and left me to it. I'm not really a scrapbooker but I must say I enjoyed doing this. Very girly, and don't you think she is beautiful? Maybe I am biased!! Heidi, Danielle's little sister has asked Nana to do her one for her birthday but at the moment she is minus her front teeth which doesn't lend itself to the best photos!! We'll have to see how it goes. Have had a busy day at Timaru today getting last minute instructions for the  weekends coming up. I'm really looking forward to them. Must away,

God bless you all,
Betsy.

My interpretation of the sketch.

Hello everyone,
Do hope you have all had an enjoyable weekend. Mine has been very relaxing, actually managed to get some housework done! Here is a card that I made using Tanya's sketch for May, being Family and Friends. She does the sketch for scrapbooking but I try and adapt it to a card. I have used  the lovely Chanteuse paper from Kaisercraft ( which by the way, I am doing a card class at SENZ using the same papers). I absolutely love it, so it should be fun. Mind you, for you South ladies that cannot make it to Auckland there is a weekend  at Artfull Crafts , at Labour weekend, where we are having a trial run. I have been working on the Card Temptations pack for June, so have it all ready to take in on Wednesday.
Must away.

God bless you all,
Betsy.

Two more cards.

Hello everyone. I am showing you another card which I have made using the lovely Graphic 45 paper, Once Upon a Springtime. Thanks to Liz, at Artfull Crafts, I have recently discovered liquid pearls which I have used on this card. They are so much easier to use than trying to chase the normal pearls!!

I love the colours of this card - I have a feeling it may be from the Bo Bunny range. Don't you just adore the Prima flowers? I have used one on this card. The sentiment stamp is one of my favorites, Hero Arts.
Will have to go and prepare for tomorrow's class.
God bless you all,
Betsy.

A couple of quilts.

Hello ladies. I trust everyone had a very relaxed weekend. Mine was rather busy but I did enjoy it. Spent Saturday tutoring a lovely group of mainly Christchurch ladies - it really was an enjoyable day. Hope they are prepared to invite me again!!
Now I thought I would show a couple of quilts I have made, one for my daughter and husband for their new bedroom and the next one was made for my granddaughter Millie Rose. I love working with fabrics and really enjoy putting colours together. Quilting of course is my first love but cardmaking is not far behind!
As an after thought I will also add a couple of cards that I have made. May God bless you all, Betsy

Pocket Card.

Well ladies, it is wet here today so it is just ideal for card making. I want to show you
all a card I made with the lovely Teresa Collins Papers.
It is actually a pocket card, again my interpretation from a card I saw on Amazing Paper
Grace's blog. Becca is one very intalented lady when it comes to making cards.
Must go and carry on with the good work which I must admit I love doing.
Mind you Liz is a hard taskmaker but we do love her!!

May God bless you all,

Betsy.

Once Upon A Springtime Cards etc.

Must put a new post up before going to bed.
Here are a couple of cards made with the GRAPHIC 45 papers, Once upon a springtime.
They are such fun papers to work with. There is a fair bit of cutting on these cards
but was still enjoyable.

I am just adding this next card , as I have just completed it. It certainly isn't GRAPHIC 45
but I still think it is cute. Do hope you enjoy. May God bless you all.

Betsy.
