More Authentique Cards

Good evening to all - haven't we had some lovely weather for this time of the year. Would be lovely if it lasted a while longer!!
As we are focusing on Authentique collection this past month at Artfull Crafts thought I would share some more cards made with the Genuine range. These are gorgeous papers with the denim look. Love them.

Don't you agree the colours lovely? The flower was made with the scalloped punch the crushed up. Very simple.

Buntings are all the rage at the moment so of course had to add some. I have patchworked the papers.

The zig zag was one of the papers which I cut, then mounted onto the gold card.

The last, but of course, not the least. I liked the saying at the base of the papers, so had to use it. The butterfly is a Marianne Design which I think is lovely.

Patchwork ladies are off on a bus trip tomorrow so have to be up early - Oh no!!  Anyway, it's lovely being with my special friends for a day.

Happy crafting to you all and trust you will know God's blessing,

As I had a 50th wedding anniversary card to make for an order thought I would do it, so as to enter another card into Joan's Garden challenge.Cards made with flowers which have been punched or using a die. Check out the challenge at Joan's Garden.

This is called a Triple Heart Easel Card and the template was sourced at Cardmaking Paradise. I have used Kaisercraft's Madame Boutique papers. The flowers were made using the retro flower punch.
I will actually include another couple of cards as well.

These flowers were made using the Marianne Rose Die. Kaisercraft Sweet Nothings papers.

This rose was using the Tim Holtz Tattered Florals Die. DCWV papers for this one.I do love making my own flowers but I get a bit lazy at times and resort to using Kaisercraft and Prima mostly.

All from me today, have a great day everyone.

With many blessings,

Joan's Garden Weekly Challenge #15

This week at Joan's Garden, Joan is challenging us to make a card which includes flowers made with either a die or a punch.

The roses on my card were made using the Marianne Rose die and the small flowers were punched out using a small Carl Punch. The Template for this Trellis Heart Card is from Cardmaking Paradise. The papers used are the lovely Webster's Pages, Sunday Picnic and Everyday Poetry.
Do head over to Joan's Garden and check out the challenge - maybe you could be one of the lucky guest designers! This is the first time I have ever entered a challenge so am interested to see the results!!

I know this is my second blog today but had to get this posted as the entries close on Thursday, 26th April.
Thanks again for bearing with me,
Blessings,

Serviette Card

Good morning all. What a difference a good night's sleep makes!!
We have a lovely day here again - think our Summer must have somehow got confused! Anyway we are very thankful for all the lovely weather we can get before Winter.
When at Camp a few weekends back, I set a challenge to make a card with the lovely serviettes we were using . Well here is mine, am still waiting to see yours Teresa!!
Teresa was our wonderful tutor from across the ditch, she taught us many tips  and was at Artfull Crafts on Thursday, before the weekend, to give us some Copic colouring tuition. Thanks Teresa.

All from me today - must go out and enjoy this lovely weather.

Thank you for checking out my blog, happy crafting and may God bless each and every one of you.

Happy Birthday

Happy birthday to me, happy birthday to me. Well, to be very honest it isn't my birthday but it is my blog's birthday!! It is a year ago today since Graham and Liz came out home and kindly set it up for me and what a lot of pleasure I have had getting to know so many of you lovely ladies.
To celebrate this auspicious occasion I am giving away one of my favourite Card Temptation Kits, Sweet Nothings - must also add that it was kindly given by Liz at Artfull Crafts. Don't you love them at Artfull Crafts!!
This is a photo of the actual kit and I will add the cards I did with it,  to remind you all what it was like.
Gorgeous!!

Now, to add six cards that I made and there was plenty left over for more projects.

What do you reckon ladies? Isn't it a lovely collection of papers from Kaisercraft.
Now, all you have to do to be in to win this kit, is to leave a comment at the bottom of this blog and we will draw a name from those comments. You have a week to comment as I will announce it on Friday next. All the best ladies.
My family are on their way down from Christchurch so even though WE'RE having a birthday had better get doing some basic work, like cooking etc!!
Looking forward to hearing from you all, happy crafting, and many blessings,

Some Card Orders To Share

Hello to all my blogging partners. What a wonderful weekend we are having weatherwise - for all those who are fortunate enough to be away camping etc, do have a relaxing time. Those of us less fortunate, do hope your weekend had been up to expectations. For myself, I have been trying to catch up on the card making orders - can almost see daylight again! No families this weekend but a couple of them are coming next week for a few days. Looking forward to that.

Here are some of the cards I would like to share with you all. As yet, I haven't managed to get on to the Authentique range that Artfull Crafts have on Centre Stage this month but do hope you are enjoying the projects that have been made by the design team - very nice!

Lew apparently owns a motorbike like this one - I had to search the web for the right make, model and age. Even the colour was perfect I was told!

John is a driver for our community bus here in Geraldine, so I had to ask my man what make it was just so I could have the right one. Wouldn't be advisable to get these things wrong!

As no doubt, you will have noticed I have been producing men's cards lately - they are all made to order, just to suit the specific man. I do enjoy personalising cards.
The first and third ones are made with Kaisercraft's Shaken Not Stirred collection. Number two was a print- of  from the computer as the recipient is fond of his TV.

May you all experience God's blessing at this Easter time, remembering what Easter is all about. We do worship a RISEN Saviour. For those travelling, drive safely.
