Teresa - The Challenge.

Hi to all my blogging friends and especially Teresa who set the challenge to make a card - thank you Teresa! Hope I have given you enough time to complete yours! Managed to get mine done yesterday as we have been very busy  with SENZ up in Hamilton, so soon after returning from Australia. The two trips were fun but it is nice to be home again and back into routine. Here is my card.

I have used all you gave me, just added a bit of ribbon and some green card for the leaves, as extras. I added the two other papers inside for decoration - and hope you notice NO KAISERCRAFT!! It is a recessed window card and the image is from LOTV. Hope it meets with your approval and looking expectantly for yours!!
Now, the next part of this blog is especially for Jenny, who wanted to see some cards made with the Kaisercraft's Sears and Sons collection. Saying that, I hope you all enjoy seeing what I have done with a very masculine range. I do find it harder to produce male cards, as I favour pretty feminine cards, finding them so much easier to work with.

All from me tonight as I think I've done enough waffling.
Happy crafting to you all and may you know God's blessing.

Return From SENZ

Hello to all my blogging friends.
Well, what a time we have had up in Hamilton at the SENZ weekend. It was so lovely to catch up with all the lovely ladies up there and to meet so many of you that have been following my blog. Thank you all so much for your kind comments. To all the ladies I taught in class, you are amazing and I thoroughly enjoyed the time with you - trust we will meet again in the future ( maybe at the next SENZ!!!)
I am going to share some more cards I have done for Kaisercraft that didn't make the Workshop Magazine, due to post problems. The collection is called " Check In " not " Destination " as previously stated.

I rather enjoyed working with this collection - not really my usual but the colours were fun. A real travel range.

Love the suitcase chipboard - Tim Holtz's clock die was used.

Again more chipboard from the collection and I love that bakers twine. Liz taught a " travel smash book " with this collection over the weekend and the ladies loved it.
All from me today, still trying to catch up on my beauty sleep!!
Happy crafting and God bless you all,

Back From Australia

Good morning all.
What a lovely morning it is after a hard frost. Well, I am just about back to normal after a really wonderful weekend with Liz and our travelling companions, Jo and Sarah. It was so lovely to be back at Kaisercraft for their retailers day on Monday, meeting all the friends etc that I have met before and all the fabulous team that run such an amazing business. I have a few photos that I would like to share with you.

The two designers that make such a wonderful job of designing the fabulous collections, Claire and Jules. Jess is overseas at the moment having a holiday.

This is one of the machines that cut out all the OTP products in the factory - there are a number of them, this one is cutting out mirrors.

In the warehouse where the boxes are all ready for delivery - the warehouse seems to go on for ever!!

This photo is of Liz and I with the lovely Stephen Kaiser - what a wonderful team he and Caroline, his wife, make. They sure make one feel special! Caroline was organising the food and what a credit it was to her.

The end of a lovely day - tea out with Mel and Christina. Lana was there as well but she dodged the photo. We're all looking a bit the worse for wear!!
I could show you many more photos of the displays etc but that would spoil it for the CHA show - they are all collections that are going to be presented there for the first time. Keep you all in suspense!! I have worked with them and there are some lovely ones coming out in the near future.
Never any rest for the wicked they say!! It's all go now, preparing for the big SENZ expo in Hamilton - we leave on Wednesday, so as to be able to set up for the weekend. Hugh, my husband has decided he needs to set up a lonely husbands club!! Do you think he'll have any takers?
Well, must continue with the good work.
Happy crafting and God bless,
