Kaisercraft's Class Act Cards

A very special thank you goes out to all the ladies who kindly left comments on my blog over the past week. I really do appreciate each and every one of them. Also I would like to welcome my new followers - thank you for joining in my blogging journey. It has been most enjoyable working with Lowri at Paper Vine, showcasing the lovely Echo Park, For The Record collection - it is certainly a pleasure to work with. Congratulations goes to Memories by Manda, who was the chosen winner. Check PaperVine's blog.

Now, I would like to showcase some more Kaisercraft cards, made with the Class Act collection that I did for the Workshop Magazine, for January. Very appropriate as the children head back to school for another year.

As you can see there is no fancy cutting on these ones! Most of the embellishments are from the collectables which are so easy and quick to use. It really is a fun collection.
Do hope you enjoy this show and tell - we're on our way to Christchurch now to look after grandchildren for a few days. Not really a hardship!!
Happy crafting to all,
Blessings,

Kaisercraft's Marigold Cards

Happy New Year to all my friends in blog world. As 2013 begins, I trust it brings all the good things with it and that you will know much blessing for the year ahead.
What a wonderful time we have had over the holiday period and we certainly can't complain about the weather, other than maybe it has been a little warm some days!!
We are planning on having a few days away next week, that's as long as I stop feeling woozy. I am having a bit of middle ear problem, the result being, difficulty with my balance. Here's hoping for an improvement!

As January's Kaisercraft Workshop magazine is now out, I am able to show the cards I have done with their new collections - it's hard keeping things under wraps, you know!!
The first of them is the Marigold collection which I know you will agree, is lovely.

Aren't the colours gorgeous? Those designers at Kaisercraft really do seem to be getting better and better!
The workshop Magazines are free, so do ask for one when visiting Artfull Crafts. They have lots of fabulous ideas, not only cards, for you to try.
Well, that's all from me today - just can't show them all at once!
On another note, I have a little bit of exciting news to share but you will have to watch this space next week!!
Can't say any more at the moment - sorry!

Very happy crafting to you all, until next time,
Many blessings,

New Year Post

A special hello to all my blogging friends.
Another New Year is upon us and doesn't it make one wonder what it will bring!

The New year is an open door, through which we each must go;
The opportunities it holds, are still for us to know.

There will be chances to do good, to help our fellow man;
Let's use each moment that it brings the very best we can.

There will be countless golden hours, God gives them to us free;
Time is the greatest of all gifts He gives to you and me.

The New Year is an open door: it will swing open wide;
We must resolve to give our best before we step inside.

The New Year is a priceless gift, so let us use it well;
The tears and happiness it holds, the next twelve months will tell.

                                      - Raymond Orner

We have had a fabulous Christmas and New Year time with our family and I would like to share some photos. The Christmas ones were taken at our daughter's home at Cromwell, then we went down to our son's farm in the Catlins, for the New Year.

Do hope you have enjoyed seeing our family, as much as I have enjoyed showing them, to you all!

Trust you are all having a great holiday wherever you are and that the weather is kind!

May you know God's blessing for 2013, and looking forward to keeping in touch.
