Four More Cards

Monday mornings seem to come round so fast - it's no wonder the year goes past so quickly!! Can you believe it -March has already gone!!

Anyway ladies, it's lovely to be in touch again and I do thank you all so much for taking the time to check out my blog. It's so nice to know you are out there and a special thanks to all the ones that make comments and email me. You are all so kind and I do like being of help where possible.

Now for this week's cards. Hope you enjoy.

This card was made for Jo, our special second daughter. A sneak peek at the lovely Kaleidoscope collection  which is one of Kaisercraft's April collections. In lots of ways it reminds me of their Secret Admirer range which was ever so popular. I have used Cherry Lynn Step Card Die again to cut out the base card and the flourishes down the sides are chipboard ones that I picked up at The Warehouse, coloured with my Kaiserfusion pens.

The ever so popular  Violet Crush collection for this card. My, it has just walked of the shelves at Artfull Crafts! I have made this card with a tab front closing and have used a Martha Stewart border punch for down the front edges.

We seem to always have a need for sympathy cards! It is a very simple card as I have used a cuttlebug folder to add some interest to the paper. The frame die is a Marianne Creatables LR0293 and the image was found on Pinterest.

The lucky last ladies!! I love the wording on this stamp and use it a lot for sympathy. Again, put the base card through the cuttlebug with a folder, used Spellbinders Decorative Labels 8 for the frame and the gorgeous rose and bud dies are a Marianne Creatables, LR0294, rose, and LR0295 for the bud.

All today ladies - happy crafting or whatever you have planned for the day, and many blessings,

Three New Cards

Good morning ladies and what a lovely morning it is. Up early, washing's on the line and all looks good.

Today I am going to share three cards which I have made, for no particular reason, other than I love making cards. It is a very addictive hobby, all agree?!

Now, last post I shared some cat cards and didn't remember the name of the die, but promised I would find out. Here it is ladies, for those of you who were wanting it. It is a Marianne Collectables COL1344, It really is cute and I hope this helps those who have requested it and that you can find it in the big wide world of Paper Crafting.

Now my cards.

A wedding card made with the gorgeous Elegance Collection from Kaisercraft. My all time favourite Step Card die from Cherry Lynn, B348 and Spellbinders Decorative Labels 8 for the frame. The image is a silhouette which I found on Pinterest - lovely!

This card is my interpretation of one that I saw on Pinterest - it took my fancy. What would one do without Pinterest? It is a very simple card to make, measures 5 1/4" square and I have cut out the side edges using a EK border punch but I'm sure any wide edge punch would be fine. The stamp I have used is one I particularly like, so didn't throw out in my decluttering. I have embossed the four corners using the Swiss Dot Cuttlebug folder then after trimming attached them to the main card.

Another simple card! Embossed with cuttlebug folder and I have used the Spellbinders Floral Ovals Die. The rose image is a 3D which I have layered up. Seam binding was used for the bow, of course tied with my Bow Tie. I do thank Noel, my friend's husband, every time I use it, which is often!

Thanks again ladies for taking the time to check out my blog and so many thanks also for the comments, emails etc. As I have said before, I really do appreciate you all.

Enjoy your day, wherever you are and whatever you are doing, and may you all be richly blessed.

Calling All Cat Lovers

Hello to all my special blog friends.

Do trust you have all had a lovely weekend, as we have had. Artfull Crafts had a great camp over the weekend with two fabulous tutors. Trina McClune from away up Auckland way and Cheryl Townley from Christchurch. Their cards were lovely and we did so enjoy having them with us and sitting under their teaching. Thanks so much to you lovely ladies. A great weekend was had by all. Roaring 20's was the theme for Saturday night and it was most enjoyable - the OLDS didn't manage to do the energetic parts but we did enjoy watching!

Today, I thought I would show you some cards, especially for those of you who are cat lovers.A friend had this die, which I cut out, so as to make some cards. Sorry, I can't remember the name of the die but will find out and include it on a future post, for those who would like to get it.

This last card is my interpretation of one I saw on Pinterest - thought it was so cute.

I am feeling a bit washed out today because we had to travel to Christchurch, immediately after camp, as I had a dental appointment early yesterday morning. So have lost some energy somewhere and a bit lighter in the pocket, as well. Oh well, the joys of getting older!!

All today ladies.
Happy crafting to all and many blessings,

Four New Cards

Good morning to all on another Monday morning. It has a rather Autumn feel this morning, being a bit cloudy and dull. Do hope it improves as I have rather a large load of washing on the line.

What an amazing weekend we have had, enjoying time with all our family, as we have celebrated our Golden Wedding. The kids really enjoyed the camp setting and had lots of fun and the highlight was the DINNER on Saturday night which the girls put on - it certainly superseded any restaurant that I have been to. Thanks to our very special family - you're the best in the WHOLE world!!

Now, I must get back down to earth, that being to share four cards that I have done, for no reason at all. These have been fun to do, as there has been no pressure, and it sure has been a pleasant change. What's your thoughts ladies.

As I have been in decluttering mode lately, I have got rid of most of my wooden stamps but this is one I just couldn't give away. It is an old Hero Arts stamp which I have coloured with my Kaiserfusion alcohol pens. Spellbinders Decorative Labels Eight was used for the outside frame and  Spellbinders Floral Ovals for the centre. Martha Stewart butterfly punch.

I had never looked twice at this die before a friend gave me a birthday card made with it. It was so nice, that Betsy just had to have it and it is a die that can be used so many different ways. Spellbinders A2 Scalloped Borders One - there are seven different dies in the pack so a variety of looks can be achieved. I have just used my score board to make the diagonal lines.

This is the same die used another way ladies - love it!!

Again using the Spellbinders Decorative Labels Eight. The flowers are from I Am Roses and the image is off the web. I do pin anything I fancy, then I have them all ready for printing off, when required.

As Artfull Craft's camp is fast approaching, next weekend that is, things are speeding up at the shop. Trina McClune is going to be with us and we are so looking forward to that. I am teaching Wednesday's class this week as our Liz's head is in a spin, so had better go and sort out the kits.

Have a great day everyone, happy crafting and God's blessings,

Three Cards Using Telegraph Road.

Monday again ladies - my how the weeks are flying!

Before I venture out this morning, I must add three cards to the blog made with the lovely Telegraph Road from Kaisercraft, which is one of their February collections. The colours in this range are simply fabulous!  My cards did miss the magazine, but I have had so much fun working with these papers. Better late than never they say!!

I have used a Prima felt flower on this card - thought the colour was perfect. Who likes circles and spots?
I DO, and stripes!

A gorgeous die for this one from - Marianne Creatables die LR0202. The Swiss Dot embossing folder is always a favourite as well.

Saturated Canary digital stamps are so much fun - coloured with the Kaiserfusion alcohol pens. The die I have used is the Lea'bilities 45.8923 which I am rather fond of, as no doubt you can tell!

That's it today ladies, must go and put my glad rags on as I am having a social day today. Well actually, it is a rather social week altogether, as fifty years ago, on Thursday, I married my very best friend and BETTER HALF.
God has certainly blessed us over the fifty years -  there have been a few ups and downs but generally speaking, more ups than downs!! We have so much to be thankful for. We are having a family get together, over the weekend, at a camp close to here, so looking forward to that.

Must away, with blessings to each one of you and happy crafting,

Betsy  xxx
