Two Orders

Special greetings again for another week. It's almost BLAST-OFF time, as next weekend is full on and we have to pack our bags etc. My friends are certainly getting excited, one especially as she has never experienced SENZ before - she's sure in for a shock!

I have been busy making cards for orders lately, so today I thought I would share a couple with you. It is always fun making personalised cards for people - I almost feel I get to know the recipient by the time I have made them.

The gentleman I have made this for is a retired farmer and he also plays the bagpipes. Rachel Grieg's film strips for the farming side and the image was googled. It is a 5 1/4" square card and I used Kaisercraft's Time Machine collection. Do hope John appreciates the fun I had with this one and many congratulations on attaining the young age of 90 years. Well done!

I rather like these Kenny images for teen girls. She was the wrong colour, as it was requested teal and lavender, so I recoloured her using my Kaiserfusion Alcohol Pens. The die is a Sue Wilson Background Die, Scattered Leaves, CED7103. The little flowers are from Green Tara. Grandma was thrilled and assured me she just looked like Jazmin. Another fun card!

Well, I must go and do a bit of organising. So looking forward to catching up with you all in Auckland - I do spend most of my time at Artfull Crafts shop as I am supposed to be the demonstrator, except for the class time on Friday morning, so would love for you to pop round for a chat and check out the fabulous products that are stocked.

Until next time, happy crafting and shopping and many blessings to you all.

Sue Wilson Dies.

Good morning to all.

Time is moving fast these days, as the preparations are all well underway for SENZ. Artfull Crafts is in full swing as it's only a week until the pallets have to be packed and on their way. Poor Graham is bearing the brunt of things but is standing up very well!! We sure love him.

Today, I thought I would show some more Sue Wilson dies for you - I have just put up a blog post for Artfull Crafts, sharing some more cards using these dies. Do check it out as well, as the cards are all so different.

I have used the Sue Wilson Die, CED8101, Australian Collection Background for this card, which looks quite different from  the one shown on Artfull Crafts blog.As said previously, a card can be made very quickly using these dies and as this particular one has seven dies in the pack, various looks can be achieved.

This is a 21st card made for an order and I have used the Sue Wilson, Lattice Arched Adornment,
CED6302. The papers are from Kaisercraft, True Love and I found the flapper girl image on Pinterest.

That's it today ladies, check out Artfull Crafts Blog to see the availability of these dies - I'm sure you will fall in love with them, as I have! Mind you, I do fall for most dies, mores the pity!!

Happy crafting, blessings to you all,

Betsy  xxx

Two New Cards

Well, another fortnight has slipped by but we are back into routine again for a few weeks, that is, until we have to go North for SENZ. The countdown is really on now and we are so looking forward to catching up with you all. We had a lovely time down South, staying with our Dunedin family a couple of nights then down on to the farm after having caught up with a number of old friends at Rona's 90th birthday party. It was so nice being with them all and the birthday girl looked so well and happy.

Today, I thought I would showcase a couple of cards which I have recently put together and would love to know your thoughts. As usual, I have made use of my dies but I do so love them and there seems to be a never ending list of new ones coming out. No wonder one is always poor!

For this card I have used Spellbinder's Cascading Grace Die, S6-045. The oval was cut using Opulent Ovals, also from Spellbinders. The image is from the Pion Paper range and the colours I chose were teal and navy, also adding a bit of lemon. I did make it for my sister-in-law Anne, who did an excellent job looking after us while we were North.

This next one is not cut using a die as I wanted it to be slightly different - have actually cut it by hand.
Grey and pink are lovely together so for this one I have used the Magnolia Lane Collection from Ultimate Crafts. The die round the image is Floral Ovals from Spellbinders. For this one I have used Prima Flowers and the button comes with the collection. A gorgeous silver edging was bought from Jo, at Embellish It.  Am pleased with the overall effect.

Talking about dies, I am really having fun at the moment preparing cards for SENZ using some lovely Sue Wilson Dies. My, are they gorgeous and I'm sure in my element! I must go and continue the playing.

Thanks so much for popping by ladies, happy crafting and many blessings to you all.
