Three Card Orders

Well, it's hard to believe that we are again at the last day of October - the months, weeks and days seem to be moving very fast, 2016 has almost come to an end!! The end of the year functions are creeping up fast now! Anyway, it is a lovely Spring day here in Geraldine today and we are enjoying it to the full.

Today I am sharing three cards with you that I was asked to make for orders and I do hope you enjoy the viewing.

My favourite Cherry Lynn Step Card Die was used for Margaret's card, the oval frame is a Spellbinder's Opulent Ovals Die, the image was printed off from Pinterest, the gorgeous lace was picked up in an Op-shop and the collection was Kaisercraft's Ooh la la, which is fabulous.

This is another card for Margaret. 51/4" square one this time and I have used the Downton Abbey collection from Crafter's Companion. It is stunning!! The oval frame is a Spellbinder's Floral Oval Die and again the image was printed off Pinterest. Margaret is a keen musician, hence the music themed cards.

Eric's card is another 51/4" square card and I have used Kaisercraft's Bon Appetit. As he is a keen gardener, I thought this collection would fit the bill. I coloured the vege strip with my alcohol pens for a bit of colour. The image was again printed off Pinterest - I thought it was rather cute and I do hope Eric appreciated it!

Thanks so much for stopping by ladies - I have put up three cards today as I missed last week again, as it was Labour Day and I found myself snowed under! I do appreciate your patience also your likes, emails, comments etc.

Happy crafting, enjoy the day wherever you are and whatever you are doing and may God bless you all.

Class Cards and Weekend's Achievement

After a very busy fortnight we are back on deck ladies and a special good morning to you all.

We have had a wonderful weekend - chatting, eating, laughing, and doing a bit of patchwork in between times. It is so nice to enjoy the company of like minded ladies, in a camp atmosphere. They are all such a lovely happy group and we all get on so well, passing on many new tips to each other. Now, it's time to put on my other cap and get some cards made. The orders seem to be creeping up and Liz's monthly kit is a priority. Do hope the mojo returns when I enter my craft room. Well, card making mojo, that is - I'm still in patchwork fairyland!

Two Monday's ago, I did a class with the Wilson Street Baptist ladies, so today I thought I would share the cards we made that day. It was their Christmas breakup, so hence we did Christmas cards. I so enjoy being with these ladies - they are a super group and very well behaved!

I absolutely love this new Christmas collection from Kaisercraft - it is called Frosted, the blues and silvers are lovely and it has vintage photos included. For this card I used the Cherry Lynn Step Card Die and the frame round the image is a Sue Wilson Ornate Holly Framed Peace, CED3074.

Again using the same collection, we have used another Sue Wilson Die, Australian Collection Background, CED8101. This would be one of my favourite dies at the moment - it has seven dies in the packet, so a variation of cards can be achieved. The snowflake is a wooden embellishment which has been coated with Gilding Wax in a pewter colour.

Still being in patchwork mode, I thought I would  share with you all, the quilt that I produced over the weekend. I saw this on the web and fell in love with it, so hence the resulting quilt. As there was no pattern, I had to work it all out but I really am pleased with the result. Maybe by clicking on it you would get a clearer viewing.

Better get into that workroom, so that's it today ladies. Thanks so much for stopping by. Hopefully be in touch next week, so until then happy crafting and many blessings.

New Home and An Engagement Card

Hello to you all - I know it is now Tuesday but Monday disappeared altogether. I'm not too sure where!

Anyway, thought I would share a couple of cards made recently for orders, so hope you enjoy the viewing and just maybe get some ideas for your next projects.

A card made for a couple who have just moved into their lovely new home - I have yet to visit but it sure looks fabulous from the outside. The card was made using Kaisercraft's  Heirloom Collection. I so enjoyed making this card for Marion, do hope she liked it.

A 5 1/4" square card for this engagement order. I have used pearlized card for this one, putting it through the Big Shot with a couple of different embossing folders. Was rather pleased with the finished result although it is very simple. I usually do the sentiments on the computer, as I can personalise them for the recipient.

Off to Timaru tomorrow for our morning at Artfull Crafts then of course, lunch with the girls. It is always an enjoyable day, basically my ME day.

Well that's it for today, until next week, happy crafting and many blessings,
