Birthday Cards

Good morning all. Well I have really slipped up over these past weeks but we have been out and about visiting families and having friends come to see us. Sorry about that, but I will try to mend my ways and even though it is Tuesday I will put a post up today. Hope I am forgiven!!

I thought I would share three cards today which I have recently made for birthdays.

For Jocelyn's card I have used Kaisercraft's January collection called Cherry Tree. I have distressed the front and then have zig-zaged round the edge with my sewing machine, using pink thread. For the brick effect a Sizzix thinlets die was used, 661175. The roses are hand made using one of the papers.

Again the Cherry Tree collection, the famous step card die and for the oval I have used the Spellbinder's Oval Regalia, S4-492. Grey again, you will notice! The silver edging  was got from Embellish It and it's very nice. Not handmade roses this time!

A 5 1/4" square one for Jordyn's card. One of the old Kaisercraft's collection but I've forgotten which one! The image was printed of Pinterest - apparently he is doing his carpentry apprenticeship.

Stavely Stamp Camp is ahead of us this coming weekend, so it will be busy but it is sure fun and we all look forward to it. The following weekend it is Stavely again for me, as we have our Patchwork Camp. Such a busy life but it sure keeps one out of mischief!

Thanks so much for stopping by, happy crafting  and many blessings to you all.

Anniversary and Birthday Card

Well everyone - how are we this morning? We are sure getting our Summer now - many complaints that it is TOO hot. Dare say we better enjoy it while it lasts.

Today I thought I would share a couple of cards which I have made recently.

A very simple 5 1/4" square card and for the cut out border I have used a Martha Stewart Punch. Some pretty paper from my stash and the sentiment die is Spellbinder's Labels 20. The silver 25 is a cake decoration.

Karena's card is also a 5 1/4" square card and the frame is a Sue Wilson, Swirly Vine, CED7016. It is rather delicate and pretty. The image is a Pion Paper's one - I do love these papers, thanks to Jo at Embellish It.

This is short and sweet today ladies as I have some calls to make now.

Trust you are all enjoying this lovely holiday day. We are heading South at the weekend to take our friends down for a little taste of the Catlins and to show them what real farming looks like!! Do hope the weather performs as it should! We may stay on a few days, hence there will be no post from me next week.

Happy crafting all and may you know God's blessing. Until next time,
