Four Random Cards.

What a lovely morning it is after a hard frost - haven't we so much to be thankful for? Looking round the garden I notice some Spring bulbs shooting through the ground, even surpassing the weeds!! Spring is my favourite time of the year with all the colour in the garden and of course, leaving Winter behind. Not that it has been a hard Winter at all down here in Canterbury, New Zealand!

Last week was lost to me, as we were down in the Catlins seeing our farm family and our daughter and grandchildren at Mosgiel, who are leaving for overseas for 5 months, meeting up with our son-in-law in London. He is a consultant on oil rigs, so hence travel is not new to him. We trust they will have a great time and our prayers go with them.

Today I would like to share four random cards that I have made.

I love making baby cards and this one was no exception! I have used a Martha Stewart Round The Page punch to do the edging, put the pink card through the E'Bosser with a folder, added some lace and the gorgeous baby picture was from Pinterest. I LOVE it!

For this card I have used the lovely Prima Stationer's Desk Collection added lace and tulle, then a felt Prima flower which was a perfect colour match. Again my image is of Pinterest. I love the vintage look this range has.

One always seems to need sympathy cards!! Marianne Designables DS0907 was used. It  actually embosses but also cuts out small sections which lets the under colour show through. I cut the label frame out using Spellbinders Opulent Ovals and the stamp is from Stampin' up. They are lovely words.

A Couture Creations Ornamental Lace Die CO723240,  Lotus Filet was used to cut the frame for this card.
Spellbinders Ovals to cut the picture from Pinterest - a very simple card. Again I have used Prima flowers.

Must away and enjoy this lovely day. Thank you all so much for stopping by and do hope I have given some inspiration for your next projects.

Happy crafting ladies, God bless you all,

Kaisercraft's Be-You-tiful Collection Cards

Good morning ladies. I know I haven't been around for some time, but all this jet setting gets one out of routine, especially at my age! Liz and I had a wonderful time at the Kaisercraft Retailer's days in Australia, meeting our lovely friends over there. Our travelling companions were pretty good as well - Jo, Sarah, Christine and Brigid. Thanks so much for dragging this old lady around - you are all so lovely.

Our time at SENZ in Auckland proved to be so much fun as well - was great to catch up with all our special friends there, both from North and South. I now have my feet on the ground and it's back to work!!!

Today I would like to share the cards I have made with Kaisercraft's Be-You-tiful collection which came out for July. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it and had so much fun making these cards. I decided to go back to the templates that I got of Sara, at Card Making Paradise which I enjoy making and I always get positive feedback. What's your thoughts ladies?

Who doesn't love butterflies?  An easel card in the shape of a butterfly. Sara has some lovely templates available and the papers just seem to be made for this one.

As you can see I have brought another colour out of this collection - think outside the square is my motto.
There is this lovely green paper, with mustard, in the collection which when you look at it doesn't seem to match, but it is lovely. This is a triple easel heart card, again from Sara.

This one is so delicate and so pretty - all cut by hand using Sara's template. Don't hesitate to contact her if you would like these patterns - she is so lovely.

We now have a change. Marianne's Step Card Die again, B348, and I have used a Marianne Creatables Die LR0111 for the frame. I think I may be addicted to DIES - I love them so much. Don't you agree the collection is fabulous?

Well ladies, for all ones that came and introduced themselves to me at SENZ, thank you ever so much. It is lovely to put a face to the names I have known for so long, and your comments were so appreciated. To all the ladies that take the time to check this out, my very sincere thanks as well - it is so nice to know you are there and it makes blogging well worthwhile.

Off to Timaru now to another card afternoon - can't you tell I love what I do?!!

May you all know God's blessing today, happy crafting,
