Isn't She Gorjuss!

Good morning all. What a fabulous morning we have here in Geraldine, New Zealand but I must admit it is a little cold on the fingers and toes! By the forecasts, it sounds as though there is a bit of snow in other areas of our lovely country. Oh well, it is Winter isn't it and we can be so thankful for our warm houses etc.

This past week or two, Artfull Crafts have added some GORJUSS stamps etc to their stock - we love these little girls ( that is Juanita and I mainly!) so today I thought I would showcase some cards made with them. Do hope you enjoy.

Now, for these three cards I have cheated and used the pack of A4 Decoupage Pack which is so easy to use and makes for a quick card. The papers used are also in the pack. Of course one has to have some flowers and the waxed cord is a firm favourite of mine, at the moment. Next week I will share some cards made with the actual stamps which I have coloured using the Kaiserfusion alcohol pens. Do check out at the shop, for these GORJUSS products.

Excitement is starting to mount now at Artfull Crafts, as it is only a few weeks until Liz, Graham and myself head to Australia for Kaisercraft's Retailers Days. We love the time there, meeting up with all our Aussie friends and making new ones. Then of course, it is back to SENZ, in Auckland, where we are having some classes for our ladies there. A gorgeous album, and you have a choice of four different sets of papers to make this. Betsy's Couture is an all time favourite collection, from Kaisercraft and I have the privilege of teaching, using it. Well ladies, it is all very exciting and I am so looking forward to catching up with you all again. There are also plenty of other classes being offered, so do check out the SENZ program and make your bookings.

Thanks so much for stopping by, happy crafting and many blessings,

Betsy's Couture Again!

Well, one finds it hard to get past, the lovely collection which Kaisercraft so kindly made with my name attached! I absolutely love it and am very worried that I am getting well through my supply. Maybe I will have to procure another set of these gorgeous papers etc, before it disappears completely.

We had a visitor over the past few days who is from America and as his wife is a card maker, he was very keen to take a card, made with Betsy's Couture, home to her. Hence, this is the card I am sharing today - do hope Linda appreciates it. We did this fold, at our last Wednesday's card class, at Artfull Crafts and the ladies seemed to enjoy it, so thought I would repeat it, as it is a bit different. Actually, it is a tri-fold card but cut a little different and I have also added the same style card to Artfull Crafts blog, this morning.

My friend Heather is an animal lover so I have made this 5 1/4" square card for her. Isn't it a cute puppy? Another of Kaisercrafts collection was used, called Furry Friends. The hessian rose was one I found on my travels somewhere and I thought it just softened an otherwise masculine card. I'm sure Heather will like it. The puppy photo was found on Pinterest.

On a personal note, our Rachelle is still making progress although still having a few problems at times. We had a lovely Mother's Day in Christchurch with our two families there - we so love all our kids and grandkids and are so thankful for each one of them. God has indeed blessed us.

All today ladies, happy crafting to you all and trust you will know many blessings.

Two New Cards

Today ladies, I would like to show you a couple of cards which I have made recently. I haven't been very productive lately, as I have had the past week up in Christchurch again, with Rachelle. She has been very sick but is now on the mend hopefully, all being upwards and onwards from this point! It is a privilege to be able to be with her, but it isn't nice to see her suffering.

The first card was an order for a friend, as she wanted to send it to her mother overseas, for Mother's Day. It is a lever card made with Kaisercraft's Oh So Lovely collection. Splitcoastampers have a tutorial for this card, on their resources section and it is very easy to follow if you would like to make one.

I have just been playing with some photos images that I got from my friend Doreen and some lovely papers from her as well. They are a Mixed Media Paper Stack and just gorgeous. Isn't the little girl such a cutey? There  is quite a bit of fussy cutting on the card but other than that it is rather simple.

It was such an exciting weekend, as we welcomed our new Princess - after all the sad things we hear these days and we think especially of the people in Nepal, it was lovely to have something to rejoice over. I am a true blue Royalist, and I feel so proud of this lovely family. A big congratulations goes to William and Kate. Do wonder what they will call her!!

I have a quilt calling - just sewing the border on now and it will be completed. This one is for the spare room. It always gives a good feeling when one arrives at this stage. Maybe, I will share a photo later.

Happy crafting ladies, we are enjoying a lovely day here weather wise, as I hope you all are.

Blessings to you all,

Betsy xxx
