Hello to all you lovely people.
We have had a most enjoyable day today - it was our first patchwork meeting for the year. It was lovely catching up on all the ladies - seems to have been so long since we have been together.
Just a quick post today to show you a couple of cards I have made for different family members.
This is a step card made for our oldest daughter, Karena. For this one I have used, the Prima, Romantique collection. The gems and the small flowers also come with this range - I think it is very pretty! Spellbinders Labels 16 die was used for cutting out the sentiment. The two borders were cut using the Martha Stewart punch, doing both sides of a 1 1/4" strip of card. Very simple, but I was pleased with it. Think Karena was as well!
Now, this card is a bit different! Our youngest little grandson, Harvey had his 5th birthday on Tuesday. Instead of pirates this year, he has a fetish with 'Knights in Shining Amour'. Aren't these grandkids delightful!!
Apparently, he was very pleased with it, actually took it to bed with him. When he rang he said " Did you make it all by yourself Nana, for me?" Love him!
The Kaisercraft, Shaken Not Stirred collection was used and I sourced the Knight of the web.
Another card making day tomorrow with a special group of friends, so had better go and sort out what I am going to do.
No doubt, you will all be watching what comes up on Artfull Crafts blog re the big CHA show. Should be fun to see what Liz and Graham get up to and what they see. The sneak peeks of what is being shown for the next six months is just amazing - will be really excited when they all arrive in the shop!!
Happy crafting 'til next time,
With blessings to you all,
Betsy xxx
Lovely cards Betsy, you always have the most amazing details. William is great, growing up far too fast. Full of smiles and trying hard to talk, he has great burbling conversations. hugs Louise :)
