Random Cards

Hello ladies - sorry I have missed last week's post but I have been out of sorts lately, even to having a couple of nights in hospital for explorative tests, with some more to follow. Oh, the joys of getting older, well I presume it is! Am feeling a bit better today so I may get into my workroom later - I have another kit to put together for Artfull Crafts and am looking forward to that, putting all the ideas in my head into actual fruition.

Do trust you all had an enjoyable Easter break - the weather here wasn't the best but from the sound of it, it could have been a lot worse, as was the case further North.

These cards that follow are some I have been having fun putting together, for no particular reason. Hope you enjoy seeing them and get some ideas for your next cards.

This was a little challenge a friend gave us - by mistake she ordered  too many sheets of the Graphic 45, so gave us all a couple of sheets, to see what we could come up with. It is By The Sea range and this is one of my cards. As I am a Graphic 45 fan, I did enjoy this. I immediately thought of acetate and a window box card - it was all just made from the sheets that were given us, with a bit of fussy cutting.

This card is sort of a flip card, I think you would call it. Having part cut the two circles out then they are joined by the sentiment which gives the back a slight curve. I have used Kaisercraft's Honey Chai Collection.

I'm not too sure what you would call this card but I do like it a lot and once you have the basic shape, is very easy to put together.  You begin with two pieces of card the same size and I have used the double sided paper to get this effect. We first made it  6" square card but I have adapted it to a 5 1/4" as I prefer the smaller size. The papers are from My Minds Eye, the Now and Then range.

This final card is called a Block Card which folds down nicely, for posting. So, so cute and I have used Prima Stationer's Desk range which I just love. Don't you agree?

Well, I am going to sneek into my workroom now and see what happens - hopefully something!!

Thanks for taking the time to check this out. May you all enjoy your day and happy crafting or whatever you are doing. With many blessings to all,

Betsy  xxx
