Another Couple of Cards

Well, a special hello to all my lovely blog friends. This will be the last post for 2016 - I sure don't know where the year has gone, but gone it has! I certainly appreciate the support I have had over this last year and look forward, with anticipation, to 2017 and being in contact again. Even though one gets older each year ( 76years old today!) I couldn't imagine life without all the super friends I have made over the years, through this wonderful hobby.

As I have thought about this time of the year with all it's busyness etc I thought I would share a quote I found which I thought you all may appreciate.

Christmas can be a maze of commercialism if we let it. Instead, let's make it a moment of clarity in which we view our sometimes confusing and threatening world against the backdrop of God's gift to us: The Prince of Peace who was announced by the angels, on that "midnight clear".
                                                                                                                David Jeremiah

Here are the two cards I thought I would showcase today.

Alison's card was made for an order and I have used the lovely Sue Wilson Die, Backgrounds, Swirly Vines, CED7106. Ooh La La Collection from Kaisercraft, makes a very nice card I'm sure you will agree. I did fussy cut the roses and leaves from one of the papers. I do hope Alison liked her card and that her 90th birthday proved very special.

Heidi, our youngest grand daughter, has turned the grand old age of 13 years - as I mentioned before, I don't know where the time has gone!! A Kenny image was used on this card and the Cherry Lynne Step Card Die. The collection is another one from Kaisercraft, called All That Glitters.

Must away and carry on with the good work - we are preparing to head to Hamner with all the family for Christmas and we are really looking forward to that, I do trust you will all have a great holiday season and if travelling, do take care. May God bless you all, catch you next year.
