Good evening to all. Yes, it is an early post but I am having some lovely friends coming tomorrow for a crafting day, so time in the morning will be at a premium. We sure have a lovely time when we get together - I don't really know if we achieve much, but we do have fun.
It has been a very exciting week for us here, as we have welcomed a gorgeous wee great grandson into our family. He is a little stunner and not so wee either, as he weighed 9lbs2oz - certainly well covered!! I can hardly wait to get my hands on him but I must exercise a little self control, so as to leave Mum and Dad to enjoy him the first few weeks. Great Grandad and I will be travelling down in the very near future, to be sure - we are both over the moon! We give thanks to God for little Clayton Jessy, also Zoe and Jessy for this perfect little boy.
So much for our excitement!! I thought I would share a couple of cards today made with Kaisercraft's Lilac Whisper Collection which has been ever so popular. The colours are lovely, very delicate.
A simple 5 1/4" square card a bit of lace and of course my favourite foamiran flowers. Seam binding has been used for the ribbon.
This card is the same size as the previous one and I have used the same collection. Heartfelt Creations are bringing out some lovely stamps, dies etc and I have used a couple on this card. The Window Frame stamps and dies are HCPC- 3794 stamp and HCD1-7148 die. The shutters are from the Window Box Elements HCD1-7150. I can see a lot of uses for these products. Again a foamiran flower with some berries and some gauze.
That's me tonight ladies. It has been a very busy day today so I am looking forward to climbing into my bed. Trust all are well and are getting some crafting done. Thanks for taking the time to stop by and may you all know God's blessings. Until next week.

Three Birthday Cards
Hello to all. Well Spring has disappeared today, it is very wet here but looking on the positive side it is good for Hugh's garden and all his Spring plantings. Tomatoes are still at my front door in shelter and it was his plan to plant them in the glass house today. Another day tomorrow I say!!
Last week was very busy and as you would have noticed, no blog. Birthday morning tea out with my lovely friends, then off to Timaru to the Baptist Ladies Craft afternoon. We're back on deck today and all is well. Do hope I'm forgiven again.
Thought I would showcase three cards today, to make up for being remiss last week. Here we go ladies.
This card was an order, for a horse loving lady. Graphic 45, Off To The Races was used, a doily and a foamiran flower and some gauze. The horse and lady have been fussy cut from one of the papers. My usual size card, 5 1/4" square.
For this card I have used Kaisercraft's Sage and Grace Collection. It is has very delicate colouring, pale grey green and salmon pink. Stunning! I have cut out one of the shapes then cut a circle in the centre and recessed the sentiment. Another foamiran flower with some gorgeous berries. This card was made specially for my lovely grand daughter.
As you can see 5 1/4" square cards are my favourite size - I do find them easier to make, as they stand a few more embellishments. One always needs flowers and bling! The die I have used is a Sue Wilson Backgrounds Die, Swirly Vine, CED7016. Staz apparently likes bright colours, so Bo Bunny, Butterfly Kisses Collection did fit the bill. Of course more foamiran flowers!! Do hope she likes her card and enjoys her birthday.
Thanks so much for checking in and I trust you are all enjoying whatever you find to do on this wet day. Certainly won't be any outside jobs here! With very many blessings to you all.

A Baby & Birthday Card
Good morning to all my blog friends. Trust you are all well and enjoying some lovely Spring weather and of course plenty of crafting. It is great when we can disappear into our craft spaces, forget the house work etc and really work on what we enjoy most. Well, that's my thoughts anyway!
Today I am sharing a couple of cards made for an order. This sweet lady has just become a first time Grandma, hence the baby card. A beautiful little girl has joined their family, so congratulations to all. Now, for the viewing.
My usual 5/4" square card and I have used a Sue Wilson border die to cut the lovely border. The image is one that I printed off Pinterest, so gorgeous. You will notice I have reverted back to my little flowers for this card - no foamiran!!
Back to my addiction for this one! Yes, foamiran flowers, I love making them. A very simple card, distressing the edges, cutting out a circle and using my sewing machine to do a little stitching round the outside edge. The berries also come from Foamiran, a bit of waxed cord, some gauze and I placed some sequins randomly. Do hope Bianca liked her card.
Well, my workroom is calling so had better head that direction. Thanks for stopping by and until next week, happy crafting and many blessings to all.
