Hello to all my blog friends.
Friday last, five of us 'girls' decided we were going to go 'bush' for the weekend and what an amazing weekend it was! Food, talking, laughter, and card making, in that order, was accomplished!! We travelled to Doreen's brother's farm, on the west side of Lake Opuha and stayed in the farm cottage. A fabulous time was had by all and the weather was perfect. Thanks so much Margaret and Eric for making us so welcome. Just as well my husband has his lonely husband's club, isn't it?!
Back to showing you some cards that I did for the Kaisercraft Workshop Magazine. As Anzac day is fast approaching, thought I would share the cards I made, with the Remember Me collection - it definitely has the Anzac theme running right through it and I love the poppies. Actually, they are one of my favourite flowers.
That's it ladies - don't you agree it is rather nice. Trust it does bring back precious memories, for lots of people, as the 25th approaches.
Do hope that your day is up to expectation - the weather here is just super, so should get out and catch some sun. Being back to normal time, the days seem to be so much shorter, don't they?!
Happy crafting everyone, and many blessings to all,
Betsy xxx

Kaisercraft's Needle and Thread Cards.
Good morning everyone.
As I have been making the cards for the April Card Pack, for Artfull Crafts, and have been using the Needle and Thread collection, thought I would share the cards I did for the Workshop Magazine, for April. I really do love this collection and found it rather nice to work with. In my "former life" I was a dressmaker, dressing many brides, so I really do feel at home with this range!!
All you ladies that get the monthly packs, are so going to love this one!! As well as being sewing orientated, it has rather a vintage feel.
Again, thanks so much for checking out my blog - so glad you enjoy seeing what I have been up to and it is nice to receive your emails and comments.
Do click on the photos for a clearer image.
Happy crafting to you all, and may you all know God's blessings,

Three New Cards
Well, Easter is behind us again for another year and what a busy weekend it has been. Do hope you all had an enjoyable and relaxing time, the weather certainly has been lovely, here in Geraldine anyway!
I decided I would have a change from Kaisercraft cards today and would show you some I have made for friends, also an order.
This card was made for a special friend, for her birthday - I have used the lovely Marianne Creatables Die, LR0180. Being a 5 1/4" square card, the die fits beautifully. The paper is from one of the Kaisercraft's collections, but I'm afraid it is eluding me at the moment.
An easel card this time made with another Marianne Creatables Die, LR0112. The papers used here are from DCWV, Lemon Flower Stack - I love the colours in this range. Do hope this lady appreciated it as much as I enjoyed making it!
This card was made for a special young lady, who looks on us as her New Zealand grandparents - the family are from Canada, so hence we're the New Zealand substitutes! Isabel is a keen ballet dancer, as no doubt you can tell!
All today ladies, must go and catch up with some more card making! Artfull Crafts' monthly pack on the go now and I really haven't been able to get to it yet, what with the busy weekend. Do remember, there is a new challenge out now at Artfull Crafts, for this month - Home Sweet Home, also a sketch that can be followed. We love seeing you projects.
May you all have a happy day, doing what you enjoy.
Many blessings,

Kaisercraft's Lavender Haze
Hello to all my special blog friends.
What a lovely mild Autumn morning it is - great day for getting the washing dry.
This morning I would like to show you the last collection I have done for Kaisercraft's March Workshop Magazine. This range is very delicate, the colours being really pastel. Would love to hear your views on this one!
As I rather liked the black contrast, I have added it to most of the cards - just seems to need the darker colour!
It's great that Kaisercraft caters for all our preferences, isn't it? Their ranges seem to be quite diverse!
Do click on the photos as you get a more clearer viewing.
Thank you so much for checking out my blog - I do really appreciate you all very much. As I've said before it makes blogging all worth while and I do hope I'm not the only one that benefits from it!
All today, trust that the Easter break goes well for you all and safe travel, if travelling.
My thoughts keep returning to the first Easter morn, when Mary arrived at the tomb to find it empty - what a joy to remember a RISEN Saviour.
Happy crafting and may you all know God's blessing,

Kaisercraft's Lulu & Roy Cards
Good morning to you all.
What a blessing it is to see the rain at last - do trust that it helps all the folk up North who have been suffering the drought conditions.
Well, what an amazing weekend we have had at the Artfull Crafts stamp retreat, at Stavely. It really was a fun time, with such lovely tutors and Liz did an terrific job organising the whole weekend. Thanks so much Liz.
Today I would like to show you the cards I made with the Lulu & Roy collection, for the Kaisercraft Workshop Magazine, for the month of March.
The colours in this collection are rather nice - the combination of the navy, pink and mint goes so well together.
Two camp weekends in a row is a bit hard on this girl, so I am taking it quietly today!! Must say it was well worth it though!
Do hope you enjoy this viewing of another lovely collection from Kaisercraft and get some ideas for your next cards. Their collectables make card making so much easier.
All today ladies, happy crafting and may you know God's blessing,

Kaisercraft's In The Attic Cards
Hello to all my blog friends.
Today I would like to share some cards made with Kaisercraft's In The Attic collection. Actually I did make these for the March Workshop Magazine but I'm afraid I didn't get credited for them. Anyway, we can all make mistakes!!
These are the five cards I produced.

As you will notice, it is a very different collection and I really did have to put my thinking cap on for this one!
Anyway I did it and was rather pleased with the end results. Would love to know what your thoughts are on this range!
We had a patchwork camp over the weekend, so I had my other cap on and spent the weekend making the top for another quilt. What a fun weekend it was with a lovely group of ladies. I will have to find time to complete the quilt now.
I have just completed the Card Kit for March, for Artfull Crafts, using the Bundle of Joy collection. Gorgeous!!
All today ladies, happy crafting and God bless you all,

Kaisercraft's Bundle of Joy Cards
A special good morning to all my blog friends.
Today, I would like to share some of the cards I have made for Kaisercraft's March Workshop Magazine, now that it has been published.
Bundle of Joy is an absolutely delightful collection and what fun I had making these up. Some of my favourite cards to make, are baby cards, so this was just up my alley. Hope you enjoy seeing what I have achieved with this range and get some ideas for your next projects.
Of course, Artfull Crafts have this collection available, so don't hesitate to get it now, as I don't think it will last all that long! It's super cute, as no doubt you will all agree!
Well ladies, must go and carry on with the good work. Thank you again for checking out my blog - makes blogging well worth while.
Trust you all have a pleasant day, doing what you enjoy.
Until next time may God bless you all,
Betsy xxx
