Another week behind us - another week closer to Spring but aren't the weeks flying by?
I am just sharing a couple of random cards I have made, nothing too exciting!
This card was for my granddaughter, who, at the moment, has a crush on Taylor Swift. Nana had to get up to date with this as well, but I must say it's an improvement on Gangnam Style!! Oh the things one has to learn! Anyway, the card did meet with the approval of the said Millie!
I have used Kaisercraft's Summer Breeze collection - very pretty range for the girls in your lives. The die is one of my very favourites at the moment, Marianne Creatables, CR1241. It is so pretty!
This card was made for an order and as you can see I haven't added the message in the frame, but I did do it before I gave it away!
While at SENZ in Auckland, KK told me of a wonderful die that had just been released, so of course, Betsy had to have it and what a difference it makes when making Step-cards - so, so easy!! For those who are tempted, it is Cherry Lynn Design, B348. It cuts out everything, even the papers for the layering. Last week I taught two classes using it and the ladies were so impressed. Artfull Crafts have now ordered it.
The card was made using the Marigold Collection, from Kaisercraft.
I have added the last two photos, as it gives a little insight into my workroom. Mind you, I haven't shown the messy side!! I really am showing off my Kaiserfusion pens which were kindly given to me when I was in Australia. I am so enjoying using them, apart from the fact they look so nice, in their stand, on my workbench!! All agree!!
That's it today ladies, happy crafting and many blessings to you all,

Washi Tape
Greetings to all.
I know it's a day late, but as they say, better late than never! The weeks just seem to fly by - it will be Christmas before we know it! Actually, Liz and I were sorting out the Christmas classes etc yesterday and it really did bring home, how the year has flown. The older one gets the faster it goes!!
Who doesn't love WASHI TAPE? I will admit, mine is purely for decoration on my workbench ( and it looks so nice on the coffee tree stand!!) but it does have a way of getting used on my cards as well. Not all, but a little! While up at SENZ I bought a FEW rolls from Lowri at Papervine and what a selection she had - it really did look amazing hanging on the back wall of her stand.
I am sharing two cards made with the said product - hope it gives some ideas for using the tape.
That's it today ladies. Must go and enjoy this lovely day, get another load of washing on the line.
Lowri also has lots of bits and pieces in her shop which I have used as well on these cards so do check out her new on-line shop.
Happy crafting to all and many blessings,

Paper Piecing & Tags
Good morning to all and another lovely morning it is. What amazing weather we have had lately, the Spring bulbs are starting to show through and the trees are beginning to bud. I love Springtime!
Well, I am putting up this post this morning so as not to miss out again this week! Hugh and I are heading to Christchurch later today, as tomorrow we are going to do the Alpine Train ride with a group of friends. I have a very excited husband, as he loves to be out viewing the wild country etc - almost like a little boy!!! LOL. I'm sure it will be fun.
When at SENZ, I discovered these gorgeous dolls from Prima Marketing and have since discovered Artfull Crafts have them in stock. The tags are also from Prima, and I have so enjoyed working with these two products. Paper piecing is fun and it does save a lot of colouring.
Remember the OLD days when we used to have our dress up dolls - these brought back many memories!
Have we all taken selfies? I think this group of ladies are so cute and I have also paper pieced their outfits.
Do click on the photos for a clearer image.
Must go and pack our bags, happy crafting to you all and may you all be blessed,

On This Day Cards
Greetings to all my blog friends, - trust you are all managing to brave the Winter. We have had some lovely days here, so haven't anything to complain about.
Sorry about the delay in adding this blog post but I decided to have a few days with my lovely daughters and their families in Christchurch, hence the week just seems to have flown! It was certainly what one needed after the busy time that was had, over the past few weeks. Now I am ready for work!!
The cards I am sharing are made with another collection from Kaisercraft, On This Day. I am really in love with most of their ranges - just as well, as I spend a considerable amount working with them!! Do enjoy it though.
I think you will all agree it is a lovely collection! Very appropriate for weddings, anniversaries etc.
Do click on the photos for clearer images.
All tonight ladies, happy crafting to you all and many blessings,

Miss Empire Collection from Kaisercraft
Good morning to all my special friends.
I think I have just about returned to normal, after our hectic time away - still enjoying my sleep-ins though!! It all seems a bit like a dream now but it really was a " well worth it " time. More on that one later!!
I really am on holiday from cardmaking at the moment, as all my tools are on the pallets that are heading South. Hopefully, all being well, they should be here by tomorrow. Having picked up another nine collections from Kaisercraft, I am keen to get started.
The Miss Empire collection from Kaisercraft is absolutely lovely and I so enjoyed working with it. I love the vintagey feel and of course the colour combination suits me fine!

This last card is a 5 1/4" square, slightly bowed at the front with acetate. I was pleased with how it turned out. Don't you agree with me about the collection - love it! Click on the photos for a clearer image.
Thank you all so much for checking this out, for your comments and emails. It is great to be in touch.
Happy crafting, and many blessings,

Home Again, Home Again, Jiggety Jig!!
Hello to all my blog friends and a special hello to all the ladies who I caught up with at SENZ. It was so lovely to see you all, to put names to faces and to know you all check out my blog. Thank you so much everybody - it certainly makes blogging worthwhile and it is nice to know you appreciate the little I have to offer.
Well, what an amazing time we have had over these past weeks. It was absolutely wonderful seeing all our friends at Kaisercraft and we thank them so much for all the love they showed us. You are an amazing team and I am so thankful to part of it. The Retailers days were up to the usual standard that Kaisercraft is renowned for!
After Australia, we flew direct to Auckland, where we had a very busy time setting up the stall, taking classes, meeting all our lovely customers and generally having a social time. It really was very special but I must admit I have come home for a holiday!!
Now, I must put up a few cards that I have done recently, using Kaisercraft's True Romance collection. It is so lovely.
I must apologise for the poor quality of these photos, but as the weather was atrocious I had to take them inside and they are never as good. Do click on them for a better viewing.
Just to finish off, I must share some photos that were taken, when we were at Kaisercraft.
Mel and I having a bit of fun.
This isn't all the ladies, by any means!
Taken with Stephen and Carolyn Kaiser - what an amazing, super couple they are and they sure make you feel part of the family!!
That's it tonight ladies, happy crafting and may you all be blessed,
