Greetings to all my special blog friends
.
Christmas is almost upon us for another year and I sure don't know where the year has gone. Seems only yesterday that we were preparing for last Christmas! It will be nice when we can all settle down and can really enjoy our families and friends, and of course, really focus on what this season is really all about. I found this lovely poem the other day and thought I would like to share it with you all.
May Christmas hold true for you,
Jesus' miraculous birth,
Although He was the King of Kings,
He set aside it's worth -
For His purpose was the cross,
Nothing else could take it's place,
And reconciling you to God
Was secured through His grace. M.S.Lowndes
Today I would like to share some cards that were made for orders. Do hope you enjoy.
This was made for one of my lovely patchwork friends, who you can see, had a milestone birthday. Marie loves purple and green so it was met with much approval! I used Lilac Avenue collection from Kaisercraft.
Debbie loves travelling, hence the theme of the card. Kaisercraft's Check In collection was used and the film strip is one of Darkroom Doors.
A card specially for Ros' 70th made with Kaisercraft's Elegance collection. I rather like the colour combination in this range, especially the grey and mint.
Who's about to celebrate their GOLDEN WEDDING? Guess! Now, this card was actually made for Jean and Brian who have just enjoyed their celebration. Vintage cars and gold lace were the order of the day and just a little close up.
Thank you all so much for all the encouragement you have been to me over this past year. Your comments and emails have really been much appreciated.
This no doubt, will be my final post for the year, as some of the family are arriving either today or tomorrow, then we are all heading to Christchurch to enjoy a family time together for Christmas day. Have managed to get myself a nasty bug over the past day or two, so do hope it is about to move on!
Warmest wishes for a happy holiday season and a wonderful New Year.
Blessings to each and everyone of you,

Confetti Cards From Kaisercraft
Greetings to all my blog friends. The countdown is really on now - how many sleeps?
It is a bit of a mad house here at the moment, so we will be glad when it all settles down to normal - if there is such a thing!! Really am getting a little bit old for all the excitement!
Kaisercraft has brought out another lovely collection, for December, called Confetti and I am going to show you the cards I have made for the Workshop Mag. Hope you enjoy seeing what I have done and will get some ideas for your next cards etc. Card making is so easy when working with one of Kaiser's collections as there are so many collectables with each range and it does make the projects so much easier.
I must carry on with the good work, so that is all for today.
Remember the challenges at Artfull Crafts - you have until the 22nd December to get your projects done. It is all fun with some prizes to be won. We love seeing what you come up with.
Happy crafting everyone and God bless you all, at this busy time.

The Looking Glass Cards - Kaisercraft
Good morning ladies - not many sleeps now 'til the big day! Do hope you are all up to scratch with your preparations etc. Of course your cards will be all made by now! As there are plenty of ideas floating around in blogworld, it should be making the job so much easier. We sure get worked up about one day in the year, don't we? Sometimes we are so busy that we forget the true meaning of this special time, God's gift to us in the form of His Son. May you all be blessed this Christmas.
Today thought I would show you the cards I have made for the Workshop Mag using the Looking Glass collection from Kaisercraft. It is very reminiscent of Alice In Wonderland, one of my very favourite books as a kid, which I read, read and reread and it was a fun collection to work with.
Again using Cherry Lynn's Step Card die. I have just discovered another way to fold this die which gives it a different look. Watch this space ladies!
The Mad Hatter's Teaparty - isn't it cute?
A gate fold card this time.
I have made use of Kaisercraft's wooden flourishes for this card and the previous one. Have coloured them black with my Kaiserfusion Alcohol pens then added Dimension for a shine. The picture I found while browsing the net one day - thought it was appropriate.
That's it ladies - thank you for checking out my blog, the comments and emails. It does make blogging all worth while when I know you appreciate the cards I share.
Many blessings to you all, have a great day whatever you are doing and don't get too bogged down!

Tea Break Collection
Good morning to all my blog friends. Do trust you are all well and happy.
As we have had quite a traumatic time here over the past couple of weeks, I have been unable to get to my computer to put up a new post. Sorry ladies for the delay. Back to normal now, I hope!
Today I would like to share some cards that have been published in Kaisercraft's Workshop Magazine for the month of November. Tea Break is quite a fun retro collection with rather unusual colour combinations. What are your thoughts ladies?
This card is made using Fiskars Advantedge punch system. On my last visit to Australia, with a bit of "persuasive talking" from Stephen Kaiser, Fiskars decided to sponsor me - now isn't that exciting! Since receiving the box of goodies, I have been enjoying trying out all their systems and punches etc. Thank you Fiskars.
The base of this card has been patchworked using various papers form the 6 X 6" pad. A great way to use up scraps.
That's it today ladies - must go and catch up with some work around here. Over the past week we have just about lived in our car, doing an awful lot of travelling, so it is lovely to just have a day at home to recuperate.
Happy crafting to you all, enjoy what you are doing and God bless,

Kaisercraft's Hidden Treasure Cards
Greetings again, at the beginning of another week.
A very busy week is ahead of us but I must add to the blog before we get swamped! It is the busiest weekend of the year coming up for our little town - it really does come to life! Just hope the weather holds, as most of the stalls etc are in the domain and it can get a bit uncomfortable, if wet. We also have our usual patchwork display with quilts etc, that have been made over the year. Some stunning work has been completed again, this year.
Now I must share another collection, that I did, for the Kaisercraft Workshop Magazine for October. It is Hidden Treasures. Navy and mustard would be the dominant colours in this range. I think it is lovely. Love to know your thoughts.
Thank you all so much for taking the time to check this out and for your emails and comments. Again, I do appreciate you all and do hope you get some ideas for your cards, from what I show here.
Happy crafting to you all, enjoy what you are doing wherever you are.
God bless,

Kaisercraft's Take Note Cards
Greetings ladies from beautiful South Canterbury, New Zealand. Spring has sure sprung, and what a fabulous day it is.
Today I am sharing with you some cards I made for the Kaisercraft Workshop Magazine, for October.
It is the Take Note collection which has been very popular and I did enjoy making these cards. Hope you enjoy seeing them! Again plenty of sepia ink round the edges, I love the aged look.
Short and sweet today - I have a binding to attach to a quilt which I have made for my grand daughter. We are having a patchwork exhibition here over the next week, hence the hurry to complete the quilt.
A lovely day was had by all, at Timaru, on Saturday, with a great group of ladies.Thank you all so much for the opportunity to be with you. I did enjoy myself - just coming for the afternoon tea was well worth it!!
Do keep checking on Artfull Crafts blog - there is some exciting things happening there, this month.
Enjoy your day whatever you are doing, happy crafting and may God bless you all.

Four More Graphic 45 Christmas Cards
Good morning all.
Labour Weekend is behind us for another year and what a variable weekend it has been, weatherwise. Nevertheless, it has been most enjoyable - we went to Lake Pukaki on Saturday to catch up with our family who were staying there, with three other families. It was very wet most of the day but what a lovely time we had, renewing friendships with Rachelle and Mike's friends. Absolutely super couples with their total of twelve children. The bonus was, being wet, they couldn't do all their sporty outdoor things, so had to stay inside with the OLDS!! There was a small break in the rain, so they went out for a walk for about an hour, leaving Nana and Grandad to keep the fire burning and have a Nana nap!! Talk about consideration!
Back to the business in hand - I am going to share another four cards that I have made, again using Graphic 45, The Twelve Days of Christmas collection. Do hope you are all getting your supply up to date! Not all that long now until the 25th.
Think I've done my dash with Christmas cards now, although I still have to tutor a few classes - do enjoy that though!
Must go and enjoy the lovely sunshine we are having today - mind you, the past couple of days have been just super.
With very special blessings to you all and happy crafting or maybe gardening,

Kaisercraft's Lady Rose Cards
Hello everyone.
Well, another Monday has arrived and as I have no excuse not to, will add a new blog for the week.
I have had a most enjoyable weekend with thirty of my patchwork friends - it was our Stavely Patchwork Camp weekend and what a weekend it was!! Lots of laughing, food, fun and we did manage to achieve some patchworking, in between the hilarity. I managed to put together my grand daughter's quilt so was rather pleased with that
Now, to put on my other cap!!.
Today I am going to share the cards I made for the Workshop Magazine, using Kaisercraft's Lady Rose collection, which is one of the October ranges. Another one of my many FAVOURITES!
Don't you just love the colours in this one and the vintage look? Kaisercraft have done it again!!
Thank you all for taking the time to check this out and do hope you get some ideas for your next projects. It is great to be able to pass on a little of what one has learnt over the years.
Must away, happy crafting to you all and many blessings,

Authentique Cards
Good morning ladies.
Where has this week gone? We had a trip down South, as my elderly Aunty had died and the funeral was on Monday. We had a couple of nights away, to visit our Farm family as well - there seems to be quite a draw to that part of the world! Hugh absolutely loves to head that direction, if at all possible. I think he may have been tempted to stay and do some tractor work but you know who's boss!! I need my cook at Geraldine and of course I couldn't do without him!
Now before I head to patchwork I must add this blog, with some cards I have made with the lovely Authentique, Renew collection. I loved using this range as the colours are so pretty. I don't very often use collections other that Kaisercraft but this one really caught my attention. Do hope you enjoy seeing what I have done.
Well that's it today ladies. Must away to my next appointment. Sorry I am late with this post but better late that never, they say!
Have a great day everyone, happy crafting and God bless you all.

Christmas Carol Cards
Hello to all you ladies in blog world.
Another Monday has arrived but what a terrific weekend we have had!
Five of us girls went to Lake Opuha for the weekend, just to make cards, to socialize and I must add, to eat!! We all felt we had achieved quite a bit - Christmas cards being the order of the day. The weather wasn't the best but it didn't worry us, as we were inside keeping warm, except for when we went to the BIG house for a fabulous tea. Thanks so much to Margaret and Eric.
Now I must share the final collection of Christmas cards from Kaisercraft, it being Christmas Carol. These cards were made for the Workshop Magazine. The colours are more traditional, hence more to my liking - in fact it is really lovely with the rich red, greens etc.
I have enjoyed showing you these collections, hope they have been some help, giving you ideas for your Christmas cards. Do remember the ranges are all available, to purchase, at Artfull Crafts.
Well, I must go and work out what I am teaching on Wednesday, as I have a class at the shop and I really need to get some shut-eye. I'm a bit past these late nights but it was all well worth it.
It is great to have a computer that is working to it's full potential again - many thanks to Graham and Liz for their visit last Wednesday evening. I still have a long way to go 'til I have this thing conquered but we're still working at it.
Happy crafting and many blessings to you all,

Another Christmas Card Selection
Well ladies, South Canterbury is in holiday mode today, as it is Anniversary Day, hence a sleep-in was the order of the day. The weather is not all that wonderful, so really am enjoying the laid back feel!!
I am going to share with you, another Christmas collection from Kaisercraft - love to know what you think of this one. It is called Santa's List - not really sure where the name came from! It is a very bright happy range of papers for those of you who like a more modern look, for myself I am very much a traditionalist and prefer the vintage themed ones. It is good we are all different, isn't it!
All today ladies, do hope you get some inspiration from these cards. What's your thoughts on Santa's List?
Thank you again for taking the time to check this out. By clicking on the photos you get a clearer image. Hopefully this will improve, as Liz and Graham are coming out again on Wednesday evening, so as to sort my computer out. What one would do without accommodating friends!! Like me, my computer is a little out-dated!
Happy crafting to you all, and many blessings,
