Porcelain Rose Cards

What a lovely Winter's day we are having today! The weather forecast wasn't very encouraging, but thankfully, as yet, the nasty weather hasn't come. It is great to be able to get the washing dry outside!

Now, I have been busy designing August, September and October's Kaisercraft collections but today I would like to share the lovely Porcelain Rose range that came out for May. For various reasons it did not make the Workshop Magazine, hence I am going to show you here what I did. Do hope you enjoy!

Well, that's it this morning ladies. I had better get back to my workroom and keep up the good work!!
We are going to have a few days down with our farm family, so we are really looking forward to that but it does shorten my working time.

Happy crafting to you all and trust you will know God's blessings.

Kaisercraft's 75 Cents Cards

Good morning to all my blog friends.

Things are looking brighter this morning, as my computer man has just been and got this machine working again - how could one live without a computer!!

I decided today, I would share the cards I made with the 75 Cents collection from Kaisercraft, that I did a month or two back, for Artfull Crafts Card Pack. I really love everything about this range and so enjoyed making it up. As well as being my favourite colour combination, I really like the vintage feel and was able to use plenty of sepia ink, because it is another favourite!!!

Donna Downey, a famous mixed media artist, was at Artfull Cratfs over the weekend and what an amazing weekend it was. We had ladies from  Balclutha, Dunedin, Timaru, Christchurch and Nelson and it was such fun catching up with them all, as well as enjoying Donna. She is one very talented lady with an amazing personality and a very American accent!

Cold and wet here today, just the right sort of day to be in my workroom.

Well ladies happy crafting and special blessings to you all,

Two Birthday Cards

Good morning to all.

Just a quick post this morning, as I have to fulfil a number of deadlines and time is getting away on me!  SENZ seems to be looming up rather fast now, as well. Anyway it is lovely to be in touch again and I so enjoy sharing what I have been up to. Do hope the feeling is reciprocated!! LOL.

This card was made, for Amy, using the Grand Labels 23. I have used a Martha Stewart punch for the border, called Doily Lace Trim and again the flowers are from I Am Roses.

For Roses' card I have reverted back to patch working and I was quite pleased with the end result. Do hope Rose likes it. The same Martha Stewart punch, for the border, as in the previous card, and I used my sewing machine the do a decorative zig zag stitch.
Thank you all so much for checking out my blog - I appreciate each and every one of you, also your comments and emails.

All today, happy crafting everyone, and many blessings,

Fabulous Few Days

Hello to all my blog friends. Do hope you are not rained out where you are - we are experiencing rather wet weather here today and it is certainly cooler than it has been. A great day to be inside doing the inside jobs that have been waiting to be done.

Since last Thursday we have been enjoying time with our lovely daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren. They decided to give THE OLDS a little break and we went down to Moeraki where we rented a nice house and had a fabulous few days. Having never been there before it was an all new experience and visiting Fleurs ( the world  famous restaurant !!) for a meal, was an added bonus. Just lovely!! Fresh fish straight off the boats - one pulled in with a catch while we were there.

This is just a photo of us sitting outside our little house.

Now it's back to work!
I have three random cards I would like to share with you today and hope you enjoy seeing them.

This is a special commissioned card made for a special man! As you can see Alister has just turned 90, he is Scotch and has been trialling dogs for 65 years, never missing a dog trial! The photo is of him at the last dog trials, with his dog Pete. Isn't that an amazing achievement!?

The next card is made using one of my reasonably new dies. A Couture Creations Die,Fantasia Collection CO723224 which I really love. It is so simple but elegant - a card can be made in  no time at all!

Another card made for a friend's birthday. It is quite self explanatory. I have used Kaisercraft's Forget-Me-Not range and the flowers are from I Am Roses which can now be sourced at Artfull Crafts.

As I now have nine of Kaisercraft's new collections to work with, I had better go and make the best of this wet weather. They have excelled again with their ranges - you're going to love them!

Happy crafting ladies and many blessings,
