Two Sympathy and A Birthday Card

Well, what an amazing weekend we have enjoyed, having been up at Staveley for a Card making camp and what a lovely lot of ladies we shared it with. It certainly was a lot of fun, and in between, we did make a few cards. I so enjoyed teaching, using Betsy's Couture collection, and the general consensus was very positive.  Thanks again to Liz, at Artfull Crafts, for organizing it all for us - most of the ladies were emphatic that they will be back next year.

Today I am going to share two sympathy and one birthday card with you. They are perhaps, more simple cards this week, than I usually do, but I do hope you will get some inspiration.

The die I have used for this one is CO723224, Fantansia Collection, Irish Dreams from Couture Creations. The sentiment is a lovely set of stamps, from Stampin' Up.

This card was made using an embossing folder, which does cut out small portions of the card. It is DS0908, from Marianne Designables. This is a sentiment I particularly like, one of my wooden stamps I have not given away.

A 5 1/4" square card and for this one I have used, for the rose, a Marianne Creatables LR0294, the bud is LR0295 and the frame is LR0293. The image I have got of Pinterest - my, that site is very time consuming!

Today I have been preparing for a class that I am taking, for Liz, at the shop on Wednesday and as it is a wet day, I have really been enjoying just spending the time in my workroom cutting card, papers etc and not having to think too much. I'm not quite as young as I used to be, so the exciting weekend has taken it's toll, but nothing that a good sleep tonight will not rectify, I hope!

Our Rachelle seemed back to her chirpy self again the morning, no chemotherapy this week - just has to build her strength up for the coming surgery now. She has been amazing through it all and thanks so much for all your good wishes and prayers. We do value you all.

Happy crafting all and many blessings,

Betsy xxx
