Recent Cards

Hello everyone. Just a few cards that I have made recently.

Card No1 was made for a very special friend, for her birthday. I used the DCWV, The Mariposa matstack papers, and the stamp is a Stamp-it, Time in Paris - Patti is really partial to everything French! I cut the label with Spellbinders Labels 5, sponging it with sepia ink before removing the die. Seam binding, sprayed with glimmermist and double bowed, makes a gorgeous bow. I just love these cameos which are all the rage at the moment, for cards. Of course, Kaisercraft roses to complete the card.

I have many loves in my life and one of them is Tilda, of Magnolia! I think she is just the cutest! Don't you all agree? She is coloured with copic markers which I find so easy to use. Kaisercraft, Sweet Nothings papers were used and the clock is Tim Holtz's Weathered Clock die, again cut out then sponged with sepia ink. It is a inkpad that sits on my workbench all the time, as I am always reaching for it. The usual, flowers from Kaisercraft and an organza bow.

Well ladies, how about a pot of tea? This teapot was seen on Karen Maldonado's blog and I thought it was rather cute and a little different, so I decided to make a couple. Love the saying on the second one!! Actually I saw it somewhere ( can't remember where ) and printed it off on my computer.

That's all from me today, but have you checked on Artfull Crafts blog for yesterday. I added a couple of very different cards which I found the template for, on Cardmaking Paradise. Do take a peep. I was so pleased with them.

With very special blessings to you all , do hope your Valentines Day was up to expectations. Hugh picked me a rose from the garden - was a big saving, as he told me rose were selling for up to $25. I did admit I wasn't worth that much!!

With love,

Betsy xx

  1. Beautiful cards and I too am a great fan of the Magnolia stamps as they create the most amazing cards for all those girly cards ... and that's girls of any age ... who could resit Tilda.
